Speedy's opened up in 1963, by their founders Sophie & Isaac D. (Speedy) Kaplan. Today, Arriene, Frank and Leon Kaplan are continuing to provide excellent service to Galveston and Galveston County. Rachel Sara Kaplan is waiting in the wings and Sophie is always there for advise.
