Description: Similar to 8 Mile Rd, but extends into more upland habitats, more migratory grassland birds and wintering sandhill cranes. The last known photo of Eskimo Curlew was taken here.

Habitat Types: Old island ridges, dunes, sloughs, grazed uplands, bay edges, and some trees on the ridge

Typical Bird Types: Waders, Rails, Cranes, Curlews, Godwits, Grass Pipers, Sparrows

Birding View Locations: From both sides of Steward to the bay
