Red-tailed Hawk

The Red-tailed Hawk, colloquially known in the United States as a “chickenhawk”, has bulky and broad-wings designed for effortless soaring. It can be seen perched on poles or soaring overhead.  Occasionally, they are spotted on buildings in town.
