Festivalgoers can now secure their access to the Galveston Island Wine Festival at Moody Gardens without requiring a resort stay, as individual ticket passes are officially on sale for the Labor Day weekend celebration, Sept. 4–6.

Chef Brian Duffy is bringing his bold culinary style and larger-than-life personality to the Galveston Island Wine Festival at Moody Gardens, taking place Sept. 4-6 over Labor Day weekend.  Duffy brings more than three decades of experience as a chef, restaurateur and consultant to the Galveston Island Wine Festival. He has appeared on Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay” and “BBQ Brawl” and served as a culinary consultant on “Bar Rescue.” Through his Duffified Experience Group, Duffy has consulted on more than 100 restaurant openings and renovations.

Chef Duffy will cook for both signature evening events:

White Linen Seafood Extravaganza (Friday, Sept. 4):
Gourmet seafood prepared by premier chefs, paired with exceptional wines from top global wine regions.

Penguins & Pinot: Grand Tasting (Saturday, Sept. 5):
An immersive tasting experience inside the Aquarium Pyramid featuring global wines, spirits, and coastal cuisine alongside Oceans of the World exhibits.

The Galveston Island Wine Festival brings together award-winning wines, coastal cuisine and live entertainment throughout Labor Day weekend at Moody Gardens.
