Black-necked Stilt
An abundant shorebird of our wetlands, mud flats, and beaches, Black-necked Stilts have long pink legs and a long thin black bill. The forage by picking insects and crustaceans from the water or mud with their needle-like bills. They can be found year-round on the island.
