Ivette Wilhelm

A Texas native and forever IBC (“islander by choice”), Ivette is a freelance public relations specialist with ten years of experience in the tourism industry. She formerly handled PR efforts for SeaWorld San Antonio and the Galveston Island Convention and Visitors Bureau after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. Galveston is Ivette’s home away from home and she enjoys sharing everything the island has to offer— from new additions and major attractions, to the lesser known treasures that give the destination its colorful personality.
