Wrap It Up
No one would mistake me for Emeril Lagasse. I don’t do a lot of cooking. I’m happy with grabbing something quick and easy. Wraps do the trick quite nicely. Here are a few of my favs.
Lolo Kai Chicken Caesar Wrap Lolo Kai's Caesar wrap has your choice of honey wheat or spinach wrappers and comes loaded with white breast chicken, crispy romaine lettuce, mozzarella cheese and Caesar dressing ($6.99). Other notable wraps are the Asian Avo (Chicken, Carrots, Cucumber, Avocado, Romaine, Sesame Ginger Dressing) and the Southwest (Chicken, Carrots, Cheddar, Tomatoes, Romaine, Southwest Dressing). All wraps can be salads too ($7.99). Big, delicious and healthy, I recommend pairing it up with one of their famous island smoothies !
Gypsy Joynt's seafood wrap is named the Nola Rays and features local shrimp direct from Katie's Seafood, crayfish tails. avocado sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and (okra, I think). I eat these way too fast. Sprinkle a little hot sauce on yours for some Lola heat. This is definitely the most Island Friendly Wrap !
Smooth Tony's is an island favorite near UTMB. We're fond of Tony's Thai Chicken Wrap that has chunky chicken breast, mixed veggies, lettuce and a spicey sweet tangy sauce. Relax and take in Tony's tropical patio area while you devour this Asian-style delectation.
