Common Nighthawk
A medium-sized nocturnal bird, its presence and identity are often revealed by its vocalization (nasal cries) and is usually difficult to spot during the day. If aerial, its very conspicuous because of its erratic flight. They forage mostly in flight, scooping up flying insects in its wide mouth.
