George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is located approximately 23 miles north of downtown Houston and 70 miles from Galveston; Houston’s second largest airport, Hobby Airport (HOU), is located approximately seven miles south of downtown Houston and 40 miles from Galveston.
