You know autumn has officially returned when it’s time to once again choose the Island’s biggest and brightest stars! Welcome to the 2025 BEST OF THE ISLAND AWARDS, “the Oscars of the Gulf Coast” according to The Houston Chronicle.
Here’s how you can make your voice heard!
Beginning September 29th and continuing through October, you’re encouraged to nominate your favorite island businesses, organizations, and people in hundreds of categories using the ballot below. Simply create an account, and either choose an existing nomination, or write-in one of your own. This Nomination Phase will continue through October 31st. You can nominate once per category.
From those nominees, the Top Five vote-receivers in each category will then continue for the Voting Phase, which will occur from November 3rd through December 31st. Once again, you’ll be able to vote once per category. Once the votes are tabulated? The top vote-receiver in each category will be crowned the Best of the Island on New Year’s Day 2025.
