The Terrace is an ideal location for Wedding Ceremonies with even larger capacity as it expands to The Veranda. Connecting to the Terrace Ballroom, The Veranda, with 2,501 square feet, overlooks the Gulf, tropical pools and flowering gardens. I felt transported in time to 1911...beautiful woodworking, breathtaking chandaliers, and marble floors. I loved how they maintained the historic feel of the hotel, right down to the old-time mail chute and the big brass mail box in the lobby. The heated pool and hot-tub was outstanding...lots of palm trees and foliage, plenty of lounge chairs and a wonderful swim-up bar for cocktails. Had drinks in the elegant bar in the lobby before we dined at Rudy and Pacos, and enjoyed a generous breakfast buffet in the hotel resteraunt, Brenardos.
