This location is an intimate setting on Jones Lake on West Bay near Galveston, Texas. These sites are offered for extended stays only (no short term). At this location, there are two pavilions with tables and a barbecue grill. This property has two 250' lighted fishing piers into west bay for excellent evening fishing and crabbing (traps available for your use). This area is excellent for a kayak fisherman. There are miles of shoreline a few steps down to the water for easy access fishing on Jones lake. A fish cleaning area is available to prepare your catch. A few steps down one of our piers back to your R.V., you can prepare the evening meal of your fresh catch. It does not get better than that.
This area has easy on - easy off access to Hwy 45. We are located at Exit 4 Tiki Island. This is the entrance to Galveston Island. We are ten minutes to the Strand and beach and 25 minutes to Clear Lake City area and 45 minutes to downtown Houston and Hobby airport area. There are many sites to see or you can just sit back and relax at the park and look at the water and the beautiful west side sunsets on Jones Lake every day of the year. This is a simple facility with great access to Houston and Galveston - perfect if you are looking for an extended stay.
