Photo Celebrating 30 years of service, Shrimp N Stuff has been home of "the best seafood po-boys in Galveston."

Located at 39th Street and Avenue O, this "dine-in or take-out" operation specializes in delicious boiled and fried shrimp, fried oysters and fish, and - most famously - its mouth-watering po-boys. (In fact, Zagat's Restaurant Survey rated Shrimp N Stuff's Oyster Po-Boy the best in the State of Texas in 2000-2001!)

Shrimp Dinners, Shrimp Salad, and all of your favorite seafood dinners are just a few of their tantalizing array.

Of course, being on the Gulf, you can't pass up a cup or bowl of their delectable Shrimp Gumbo. And for dessert? The Key Lime Pie never misses.

Don't let the opportunity to indulge yourself pass you by. Shrimp N Stuff is one of the island's best. Travelers checks welcomed.

Beth9/15/2008 3:35:00 PMI have visited this resteraunt for over 20 years everytime I go to Galveston. I can't wait to take my son next summer.Always a must on my trip down to the Gulf.
Mike9/6/2008 11:17:00 PMFried oysters were good, shrimp was very good and the gumbo was great. Will go again for sure. Casual dining in a clean place at a fair price.
Harold9/1/2008 6:56:00 PMDown home atmosphere away from big locations. Paper on tables like in Elgin,Tx Bar B Que restaurants.Excellent prices grat seafood especially crab patties and shrimp gumbo.
KATE7/24/2008 11:06:00 AMI AM FROM KILGORE TX AND HAVE BEEN COMMING HERE SINCE I WAS A CHILD! THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CASUAL RESTURANT IN GALVESTON! YOU MUST TRY THE SHRIMP-PO-BOYS OR THE SHRIMP SALAD....OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Eric7/16/2008 12:45:00 PMMy Dad and I ate here for dinner and I was really impressed. Although they dont serve alcohol, that even makes for a more quiet and family-like atmosphere. They also have a couple specials for about 9 bucks that includes a lot of food. Break away from the expensive seawall restaurants and live life like a local.
Bill Blasdell6/27/2008 9:04:00 PMGood food, great bargain. We love the food and it costs half as much as eating on the Seawall. If you want a good deal, eat where the locals eat.
princess vellveta6/21/2008 2:16:00 PMbest place in the world i love it along with my whole family we go to galveston every year and this place rocks
Louisiana6/17/2008 10:58:00 AMWe visited last year and were pleased. This year very disappointed. I had a fly in my stuffed shrimp. I requested a refund. They gave me back the $ for the shrimp only and never offered to refund the rest. I couldn't eat anything else that I ordered. I was told that since it changed hands it has not been the same. Will not be back.
tom anderson6/12/2008 4:11:00 PMi work here and when my family came down from Mississippi they said this is the best Da** place ever
Lacey Sneed-Treadwell5/29/2008 9:50:00 AMIw as born and raised in Galveston (a BOI!) and remember coming here for off-campus lunch back in my high school days. I moved several years ago, but make a point to stop in and get some grub. Still the best shrimp po-boys aorund! I highly reccommend this little corner seafood bistro!
judy5/20/2008 7:56:00 AMThis is an awesome place to eat. We drive from Houston just to eat here - the Roumalade sauce (homemade) is delicious. Highly recommend this non-fancy family restaurant - great!!!
David Camp5/18/2008 8:41:00 PMBest anywhere.
