Located inside an erupting Volcano, a life-sized gorilla pounds his chest in the bushes. A trumpeting elephant rears its head. Exotic birds sing and butterflies float under a lush canopy of banyan trees and flowering vines. Cool mists float through the air, amid sounds of far-off thunder and cascading waterfalls. Huge aquariums of tropical fish add a live element.

Step into the Rainforest Café, where the menu is equally entertaining! Starters such as the Awesome Appetizer Adventure tempt the palate. So do entrees like Tropical Tortellini, Fish Tacos and the Amazon Feast. A new lunch menu has been added to entice, with half portions such as the Journey Combo and the Rotisserie Chicken. At the journey’s end, there’s a Sparkling Volcano – a mountain of rich chocolate brownie cake and ice cream topped with a lit sparkler. In the bar area, amid the walls of rain, adventurers sip specialty drinks, smoothies and coffees on the backs of carved animals.

In the Retail Village, experience the wonders of the tropical rainforests of the world on the River Adventure Ride! Take a journey in a 6-passenger boat on a winding river that’s fun for the whole family. Only available here at the Galveston location.

Rainforest Cafe is the only restaurant concept at all three U.S. Disney locations as well as Disneyland Paris and Japan. Also visit their other locations in Canada, China, Mexico and Europe!
