A beast of a feast!
No other dining experience is quite as wild as Rainforest Café. With state-of-the-art décor and animatronics, it’s a real jungle in there!
A life-sized gorilla pounds his chest in the bushes. A trumpeting elephant rears its head. Exotic birds sing and butterflies float under a lush canopy of banyan trees and flowering vines. Cool mists float through the air, amid sounds of far-off thunder and cascading waterfalls. Huge aquariums of tropical fish add a live element.
Step into the Rainforest Café, where the menu is equally entertaining. Appetizers such as Leaping Lizard Lettuce Wraps and Coastal Calamari tempt the palate. So do entrees like Rasta Pasta, Jungle Chops and Congo Catfish Plate. At the journey’s end, there’s a Sparkling Volcano – a mountain of rich chocolate brownie cake and ice cream topped with a lit sparkler. At the Magic Mushroom Bar, adventurers sip specialty drinks, smoothies and coffees on the backs of carved animals.
Rainforest Cafe is the only restaurant concept at all three U.S. Disney locations as well as Disneyland Paris and Japan. Also visit their other locations in Canada, China, Mexico and Europe.

The roastbeef is a so good. The big
kids, love it as well as the little ones. You have to visit day and nite times to get the whole effect. Galveston has the best Rainforest because of the VOLCANO at nite and they have a ride inside. | | Diboll, TX | 10/2/2008 4:29:00 PM | Wonderful Place. Very fun especially if you bring someone new and sit near the gorilla's. Funny, Funny! Glad to hear it is back open and survived Ike! | | Cheryl | 9/20/2008 12:15:00 AM | We are frequent dinners and love it, Hope it survived Ike! Anyone know the condition? | | DARLA | 8/21/2008 4:14:00 PM | MY HUSBAND AND I ATE HERE FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY DINNER, IT WAS FABULOUS!!! THE FOOD WAS AWESOME, OUR WAITRESS CHRISTY WAS SO NICE! THE ATMOSPHERE MADE OUR SPECIAL DAY EVEN MORE SPECIAL. WE WILL BE TALKING ABOUT HTIS VACATION FOR A VERY LONG TIME. IT WAS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE ,BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT! EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT AT LEAST ONCE. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND I THINK IT'S GREAT TO REMIND EVERYONE ABOUT THE RAINFORESTS. | | shelly | 8/21/2008 10:24:00 AM | The atmosphere was a lot of fun. The food is over priced and the service wasn't good. The waitress we had was extremely rude. | | Jane | 8/16/2008 9:40:00 PM | Food is expensive but good. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. The service wasn't good, but it was still a fun place to go. | | Mary | 8/12/2008 9:50:00 AM | My 7 yr old and 2 yr old loved the scenery of the place, my 10 yr old wasn't impressed. Everything, gift shop and food, was way overpriced and the food wasn't that good. | | Tiger Fan | 7/25/2008 11:08:00 PM | If you have children, it might be worth the hour wait for a table, even as late as 10pm at night. Wasn't worth the wait to us at all. The gift shop in the front is cute though. | | @m@nD@ | 5/22/2008 10:08:00 AM | DELICIOUS, WE LOVE IT! From the valley there's not a place like this, so everytime we visit Galveston or Katy, we make it a family tradition to visit the Rainforest. We always leave with a smile on our faces and after we have a VOLCANO leave with a full belly. This is a great place for families to enjoy. Oh, and the ride is cool, too. | | teresa | 5/13/2008 4:04:00 PM | The atmosphere is the bomb, I grew up in Galveston but moved away after getting married.I decided to take my grandkids back for a tour of my hometown and The Rainforest Cafe was what we all enjoyed the most.
