Named one of the “10 Best Beaches for Families” by Family Vacation Critic in 2013, Stewart Beach is Galveston's premier family beach park. Located where historic Broadway Avenue meets the Seawall, Stewart Beach offers plenty of amenities for a day at the beach as well as regular supervision of highly trained lifeguards. The park is home to a pavilion, concessions, restrooms, showers, chair and umbrella rentals, beach volleyball courts, and more. Alcohol is not permitted at Stewart Beach.

  • Glass prohibited
  • Pets Permitted on Leashes
  • Clean Up After Your Pets
  • Camping Prohibited 12am-5am
  • Open Fires Prohibited (BBQ pits allowed)
  • Stay Off Dunes
  • Alcohol is Prohibited
  • Tents and Tarps Permitted in Designated Areas
  • Hard Bottom Craft (Surfboards, Kayaks, etc.) Are Permitted in Special Use Area
  • Vehicular Access to Special Use Area with Handicap Placard, Fishing License or Boat
  • Fishing Permitted in Special Use Area with Valid License
  • Launching Boats Permitted in Designated Area on the East End of the Park
  • 4-Wheelers, ATV's, and Dirt Bikes are Prohibited
  • One-Time Entry Per Vehicle with Paid Entry

Weekdays 9am-5pm
Weekends 9am-6pm

Memorial Day to Labor Day:
Weekdays 9am-6pm
Weekends 8am-7pm
