Galveston Island Food and Wine Festival

The 6th annual Galveston Island Food and Wine Festival will begin on Thursday, April 16th, 2015 in Galveston, Texas. Enjoy wines from around the world paired with delicious local food, and learn first-rate tips from celebrity chefs as well as renowned winemakers. This year’s event will kick off with a pre-event Blind Tasting on April 2nd and officially opens to the public on April 17th. With specialty food items, culinary events, artisan exhibits, and live musical entertainment, the festival offers a little bit of something for everyone.

Premium Tasting tickets can be purchased for $90.00 + fee or may also be purchased as a VIP package with The Grand Tasting on Saturday. VIP tickets are $150.00 + fee and include access to The Premium Wine Tasting and early entrance into Grand Tasting at 1:00pm.

The Grand Tasting is the highlight of the festival! Wine connoisseurs will fill their wine passports with stamps as they embark on a tasting trip through vineyards from all around the world, as well as sample food from the finest restaurants in Galveston!
General Admission tickets are $65.00 and include a souvenir wine glass, event program with complete list of wines, endless samples of over 100 wines (please drink responsibly) and food from top-notch local restaurants.

This ticket may also be purchased as a VIP package with the Friday Premium Tasting for $150.00. When purchased together you will receive early VIP entry into The Grand Tasting, skip the lines and have more one on one time with the vineyard representatives and bites from favorite local restaurants. The final day of the festival will feature a brunch at Hotel Galvez paired with champagnes and wines from the festival.
Food will be prepared by renowned chef Lance Fegan of Liberty Kitchen in Houston, TX. Lance has garnered numerous culinary awards and his menus are inspired by his passion as a surfer and the natural life styles of the coastal regions he loves.
