Philip J. Douglas, Inc. (PDI) has significant experience with residential construction and remodeling on Galveston Island.
Since relocating from Houston to Jamaica Beach in 1977, and the company's incorporation in 1982, they have successfully completed many projects and a variety of project types. The nature of those projects ranges from a small bait camp on West Galveston Island, to a home in Harborwalk with a completed value approaching two million dollars. In 2010 they completed their first residential project in the Texas Hill Country.
They welcome projects of all sizes.

PDI was invited by The Woodlands Corporation to build a model home for the Laffite's Cove subdivision grand opening. PDI was selected, as one of three general contractors, to provide interior build-out services for unit owners at Palisade Palms highrise condominiums on Galveston's East Beach. PDI was also included on a short list of builders for the new Estates of Grand Beach subdivision, also on East Beach. In 2008 Phil Douglas was appointed to a Texas Department of Insurance engineering work group to assist with the development of forensic structural inspection protocol.
The company's ultimate goal is “a job-well-done”. They have worked hard to develop and to maintain a reputation for work that is done right, and for projects that are delivered on-time without surprises. They're confident you too will find the way they conduct business - and their product - second to none.
