In Episode Four of Artifacts. Stories., I join Kathleen Maca, author of Galveston's Broadway Cemeteries, at the grave of a union soldier killed in the Civil War battle known as the Battle of Galveston. Rosenberg Library's Museum Curator, Eleanor Barton, shows two sketches of the battle.
Last year, I decided it was time to learn more of Galveston's colorful history. This video series is some of what I learned. I understand that this is not a cinematic work of art. I'm simply sharing what I learned. If you have any suggestions for improvement - or story ideas! - please post them in the Disqus comments below.
