Artifacts. Stories.: Battle of Galveston Part 2 - "My Father Is Here" - E4

In Episode Four of Artifacts. Stories., I join Kathleen Maca, author of Galveston's Broadway Cemeteries,  at the grave of a union soldier killed in the Civil War battle known as the Battle of Galveston.  Rosenberg Library's Museum Curator, Eleanor Barton, shows two sketches of the battle.

 

 

Last year, I decided it was time to learn more of Galveston's colorful history. This video series is some of what I learned.  I understand that this is not a cinematic work of art. I'm simply sharing what I learned. If you have any suggestions for improvement - or story ideas! -  please post them in the Disqus comments below.
