Moody Gardens Palm Beach Opening This Month

Moody Gardens Palm Beach will offer some new entertainment and traditional favorites as this popular private beach attraction opens for the summer May 19.  

Guests are invited to sink their toes in white sand, lounge beneath palm trees and splash amongst a variety of beach attractions including a 650-foot lazy river, wave pool and two 18-foot tower slides. Visitors can even enjoy concerts and fireworks. 

Improvements this year include additional private cabanas and enhanced Bamboo Lounges. Other attractions include the Aquarium Adventure play area and Splashpad automated aquatic water feature with interactive dump buckets, spray arches and more. 

Palm Beach will be open weekends starting May 19, including Memorial Day. The attraction opens daily June 2 – Aug. 19. As the summer season winds down, Palm Beach will be open weekends only Aug. 25-Labor Day on Sept. 3. Admission is $23.95 for adults, $18.95 for children and seniors, or $65 for a season pass. Children age 3 and younger get in free. 

And, be sure to come out for Bands on the Sand, June 8 – Aug. 11. Enjoy this summer music series Friday and Saturday nights from 6-10 p.m. Each show features local and regional R&B, rock, country and blues bands. Admission is $15 and children age 3 and younger get in for free. Each performance ends with a fireworks display over Offats Bayou, overlooking the Moody Gardens pyramids.
