Hospitality Health ER, a family-owned and operated ER, announced that it will be welcoming patients into its Galveston facility located at 4222 Seawall Blvd starting March 30th, 2018. The hotel-style emergency room, which has two thriving East Texas locations in Tyler and Longview, will be open 24-7 to provide medical care to locals and travelers in the Galveston area.
The ER will fill a need in Galveston for around-the-clock medical services for locals that can’t wait to be seen and travelers that need a doctor they can trust away from home. Hospitality Health ER is staffed with board-certified ER physicians that are able to provide a wide range of care with services that include IV fluids, ultrasounds, CT Scans, X-Rays, lab work, pediatric care, and TPA for stroke patients.
Unlike other corporate-run ERs, Hospitality Health ER locations in Galveston, Longview, and Tyler’s managing team consists of emergency room doctors, nurses, and healthcare administrators with a mission to bring top-notch, personable service back into healthcare. Co-Owner, Jill Shipp, one of several RNs in the family, shared her vision for the Galveston site:
“The goal of our ER is to incorporate the finest emergency care you can offer in a comfortable and welcoming environment without waiting to see a physician. The art of customer service has become a lost practice in emergency care. Our goal as a family-owned facility is to treat patients as if they were a guest in our home.”
