The Spice & Tea Exchange®
Located in the Rosenberg Building at 2309 Strand. They carry an exclusive selection of loose teas, sea and mineral salts, flavored sugars, bulk spices and seasoning blends. The design of the store follows the framework of an eighteenth-century trading post. Nautical antique fixtures and displays highlight the open and airy fresh market feel; along with heavy wooden beams used for shelving and floor displays.
Haunted Mayfield Manor and Pirates! Legends of the Gulf Coast
Now under newownership. Both attractions now offer video introductions to prepare you for each experience. More interactive technology has been added in the Pirate exhibit with “sound pistols” each guest learns even more about history of the Galveston pirates, most notably Jean Lafitte. A “Goonies” exhibit has been added to the Haunted Mayfield Manor with new animations. Each attraction is open year round and located in the Butterowe Building at 2309 Harborside.
Emboldened Elegance Boutique
At Emboldened Elegance Boutique, they embody a French style country boutique where rustic meets elegance. The interior of the store features a unique blend of old world charm with elegant details such as sparkling chandeliers. They carry quality brand names such as, Dex and Sage, Lucky Brand, as well as, jewelry by Virgins Saints & Angels and Three Bishops. Emboldened Elegance Boutique is located in Old Galveston Square at 2211 Strand.
The Make-Up Bar by Skinsational
The make-up bar specializes in all-natural make-up products that contain noharsh chemicals, sulfates or preservatives. The shop will carry 24 shades of eye shadows, nail polishes and offer custom foundation orders that will be made twice a week, in-house. The Make-Up Bar by Skinsational is located in the League Building at 2301 Strand.
Santa Fe Trail Jewelry
Santa Fe Trail Jewlry features fine Southwestern and Native American jewelry from New Mexico and Arizona. Their pieces are affordable and truly unique. The selection is varied and changes regularly as they receive new pieces at least once a month from different artists including Navajo, Zuni and Hopi silversmiths. Santa Fe Trail is located in Old Galveston Square at 2211 Strand.
