The Water's Edge Studio & Gallery is owned by Galveston artists Gayle and Rex Reynolds.

The gallery specializes in watercolors and oils, with a special emphasis on tropical palm trees, historic homes and buildings, and other Galveston scenery.

Rex also builds exquisite wooden dories, which are small, shallow-draft boats in a variety of styles and colors.

Water's Edge also proudly displays works by other artists and artisans, including pottery by Barbara O. Anderson, Madeleine Baker, Charles Caillouet, and John Whitman; blown glass by Patricia Gruy; and sculpture by Pat Moberley Moore.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10am - 5pm

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) approximately 1.4 miles to Seawall Boulevard. Bear right onto Seawall Boulevard. Soon Seawall Boulevard merges into Broadway. Continue straight (west) on Broadway for approximately 1.2 miles to 21st St. Turn left onto 21st St. Water's Edge Studio is on the corner of 21st St. and M.

From Houston:
Travel Interstate 45 South (Gulf Freeway) to the Galveston Causeway. Soon after crossing the Causeway, I-45 becomes Broadway (SR-87, Ave. J). Continue traveling along Broadway for approximately 2.8 miles to 21st St. Turn right onto 21st St. Water's Edge Studio is on the corner of 21st St. and M.
