Certified instructor Kathleen DiNatale has practiced yoga for over 30 years, and taught on Galveston Island since 1998. Kathleen's teaching is based on her Ashtanga and Anusara teachers. She brings a wealth of experience to her classes inspired by her practice of Hatha yoga and Vipassana meditation.

Kathleen serves as the yoga instructor for the University of Texas Medical Branch Alumni Field House, and for the Sage Source Program for UTMB Senior Services.

Classes include:

Gentle Yoga
Practice designed for new or older students or those with injuries or limitations including pregnancy requiring therapeutic modifications. Supported postures and breath practices are mindfully sequenced to ease physical & mental tension, to develop strength, balance & flexibility.

Yoga Roots
The fundamentals of hatha yoga practice are explored. This series establishes a strong foundation to build your practice on. The principles of alignment of Anusara Yoga are introduced. Breath practices serve to increase body-mind awareness. Strength, flexibility, and mindfulness are developed as the experience of yoga deepens. Ideal for students new to yoga, or as a refresher for more seasoned students.

Yoga Wings
