Photo Offering unique art for modern collectors in the Frost Bank building in downtown Galveston, Serious Studios is an emerging gallery for which artists can work on their portfolios and have their art displayed.

Owner and artist Tony Wynn is a native of Galveston Island. He introduced himself to the Art World via his gallery Serious Studios back in October of 1998. The gallery was featured almost immediately in an article about the revival of art on Galveston's historic Postoffice Street in Southern Living Magazine with a photo of Tony. That same year his comments and photo were also featured in an article about gallery owners and the Internet for the international edition of Art Business News. He began his intuitive style of painting in 1999 at a surprise show for his gallery's second anniversary (after having never really painted a serious piece of art in his life). The event was to change everything in his world. One of the gallery patrons said he "started out painting museum quality pieces" and was therefore encouraged by many of his collectors to go to New York, the mecca of the American Art Experience. While in New York he satiated his passion for collecting outsider art and initiated a website enterprise of this art at NYCStreetArtist.Com which ended up being featured in a Sunday edition of The New York Times ventures section along with a painting by Tony, the "New York Believer".
