Wasserfest, an area of the Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark, is the world’s first convertible waterpark. During the Heated Indoor Season, the 70,000-square-foot area is converted to an indoor park and features over a dozen heated attractions including four tube slides, three speed slides, three kids’ activity areas containing a variety of children’s play elements and pint-sized slides, a man-made surfing eave, a secluded beach, a hot tub and the Torrent® Tidal Wave River.
On cooler days, Wasserfest is climate-controlled and features heated water and heated air. It is Texas’ first and only indoor park.
The family-friendly park offers free parking and allows guests to bring their own picnic lunches (just no glass or alcohol please). Group Sales Information
Groups of 15 or more may qualify for a group discount. Group rates are available without a reservation at any entrance on the day of your visit or you can pre-purchase tickets at a deeper discount. The park host special events and discounts for scouts, homeschoolers, and schools.
Have a Birthday Splash! For the first time, kids with winter birthdays can have a waterpark birthday party! Have the coolest winter birthday at the hottest waterpark. A variety of fun, affordable packages are available for the Heated Indoor Season and the Summer Season.

Hours of Operation
The Heated Indoor Season runs February 16 - April 20 and September 27 - December 31, 2008. The park is open on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and select holidays from 10am - 5pm.
