Roof Garden is owned and operated by fourth-generation Galvestonians dedicated to making your special occasion into a lasting memory.

The facility captures the intimacy and charm that a standard ballroom simply can't offer, and is is custom-tailored for celebrating wedding receptions, as well as hosting private parties and elegant corporate events.

Roof Garden is located in the heart of The Strand, overlooking Galveston's Historic National Landmark District, once the "Wall Street of the South."

The 'Garden' is available year-round; however prime dates fill up quickly, so please book early to guarantee that your special date is available.

Buffet and Dancing
Several seating plans can accommodate from 150 to 400 guests, depending upon your needs.

Balcony Options
For all the right reasons, the Roof Garden's Balcony is proving to be incredibly popular. If your event's time of the year requires shade from rain or sun, we can help you find local tent rentals as well. True, you can't beat Mother Nature, but sometimes she allows great alternatives.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) and head southeast approximately .9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Harborside Drive and travel approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left (south) onto 23rd Street (Tremont St.) and travel approximately .1 miles to The Strand (Ave. B).

From Houston:
Travel Interstate 45 South (Gulf Freeway) to the Galveston Causeway. Soon after crossing the Causeway, I-45 becomes Broadway (SR-87, Ave. J). Continue traveling along Broadway for approximately 2.8 miles. Turn left on 22nd Street and travel north approximately .5 miles to The Strand (Ave. B).
