Oysters Bar & Grill has quickly become a mainstay on Postoffice Street, famous for its delicious poboys, tantalizing oysters, and - quote here from a well-heeled cajun - "some of da best gumbo I've evuh eaten in ma life!"

The menu features oysters in a variety of delicious from-scratch recipes, including 'Rockafeller' (oysters on the half shell topped with spinach and cream sauce), 'Haelen' (oysters on the half shell topped with garlic, crab meat, and cheddar cheese), and 'Diablo' (oysters on the half shell topped with spicy shrimp diablo sauce and cheddar cheese.)

And for non-oyster fans? Various fresh seafood entries, mouth-watering steaks, chicken, and pork, as well as sandwiches and garden-fresh salads round out the family of offerings.

Oysters is located in the heart of the Postoffice Street Arts & Entertainment District, just steps from the corner of 21st and Postoffice and some of the best nightclubs in Galveston.
