Photo Larry and Tikie Kriticos were born and raised in Galveston, Texas. They are first-generation Greek Americans. Their father, Gus, came to Galveston from the Island of Patmos, Greece and opened the Seawall Cafe on 17th Street (1946) in Galveston. Their mother Nora's family came from Sparta, Greece.

The Golden Greek Restaurant belonged to their Uncle Paul and Aunt Beaulah Santire.

In other words, the pros at Olympia Grill come from a long line of great Greek Cooking, and have unparalleled experience in the restaurant industry.

The chefs at Olympia Grill prepare fresh food daily and have family recipes with hundreds of years of experience. Features include seafood, Greek salads, gyros, lamb, and fine burgers.

Olympia is open every day for lunch and dinner, and was recently named a Texas Monthly "Pick" for great food quality and service.

Olympia Grill - great food since 1500 B.C.!

Marcie8/13/2008 6:50:00 PMWonderful food and the perfect change from seafood. The gyros are great. My husband and I found this restaurant on our last visit to the island and have decided to make it one of our regular stops.
DS5/12/2008 9:50:00 AMExcellent! My husband and I eat here every time we go to Galveston. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. If you want great Greek food this is the only choice you should make.
ck4/7/2008 3:03:00 PMOne of my favorite restaurants in Galveston. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their hummus is the best I've ever had and I can't find another place to make it quite like Olympia. The wait staff is usually good, although they tend to rush you a bit sometimes. Prices have recently gone up though, so be prepared if you've been there before and are expecting to see the same prices.
Robert3/25/2008 11:15:00 PMWonderful food and excellent atmosphere combined with professional wait staff all adds up to an amazing dining experience.
Jenny3/25/2008 11:58:00 AMA wonderful departure from fried seafood! I had a greek salad, and my husband had the moussaka. The Zeus appetizer plate was delicious and the kids loved it. It has grilled seafood and other authentic greek specialties. The staff is great, to boot. If your not sure what to order, just ask. We will be returning, this will be my first restaurant choice.
