Larry and Tikie Kriticos were born and raised in Galveston, and are first-generation Greek Americans. Their father, Gus, came from the island of Patmos and opened the Seawall Cafe on 17th Street (1946) in Galveston. Their mother Nora's family came from Sparta.

They credit their father (Seawall Cafe) and their uncle (The Golden Greek) for teaching them to follow in their footsteps as great restauranteurs. In their kitchens, Larry and Tikie were taught Gulf Coast, Creole, and Greek cooking styles.

Olympia prepares fresh food daily, and features family recipes that have been passed down for generations. Olympia's promise is that they'll continually test new items, as well as maintain the integrity of the family recipes which have continued to please for four generations. You'll feel at home and enjoy a memorable experience.

Olympia The Grill at Pier 21 is the latest Kriticos family addition to Galveston Island. The glistening restaurant features both interior and exterior dining, with glorious dockside dining along a working harbor.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) and head southeast approximately .9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Harborside Drive. Travel approximately 1.4 miles along Harborside Dr. to 21st St. (Moody Ave.). Turn right on 21st. Pier 21 and Olympia will be directly in front of you.
