Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe is one of the most memorable live music venues in the Houston area, if not all of Texas. Owner Rex (Wrecks) Bell welcomes patrons to this intimate, non-pretentious corner bar, where the tunes rock and the drinks flow.

Artists like ZZ Top, Secret Agent 8, Grady Lee, JT Van Zandt, Sisters Morales, Richard Dobson & Lady Boyd, Don Sanders, the PC Cowboys, L'Amant, Freddie Krc, Jesse Dayton, Harlem Slim, Paul Sprawl, and Eden Brent are just some of the legendary talents that grace the stage weekly at this nightspot that always wows.

Old Quarter is located in the middle of the Postoffice Street Arts & Entertainment District, around the corner from a host of renowned restaurants, art galleries, shopping, and nightlife.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) and head southeast approximately .9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Harborside Drive. Travel approximately 1.4 miles along Harborside Dr. Turn left (south) onto 21st Street and travel approximately .3 miles to Postoffice St. (Ave. E). Park anywhere you can find, since parking in this area is limited. Once parked, continue left down Postoffice St. to the corner of Postoffice and 20th. Turn left on 20th. Old Quarter will be on the rear corner at 415 20th.

From Houston:
Travel Interstate 45 South (Gulf Freeway) to the Galveston Causeway. Soon after crossing the Causeway, I-45 becomes Broadway (SR-87, Ave. J). Continue traveling along Broadway for approximately 2.8 miles. Turn left on 21st Street and travel north approximately .3 miles to Postoffice St. (Ave. E). Park anywhere you can find, since parking in this area is limited. Once parked, continue right down Postoffice St. to the corner of Postoffice and 20th. Turn left on 20th. Old Quarter will be on the rear corner at 415 20th.
