Old Cellar Bar is one of Galveston's most attractive pubs, featuring an antique bar discovered around 1930 in New York, originally from the Paris Opera House, circa 1880.

Old Cellar serves fine brandies, scotches, wines, and cigars, with a full-service bar and only the best imported and domestic beers and ales.

Old Cellar is located downtown on Postoffice Street, across from The Grand 1894 Opera House, and literally steps from a host of fine restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and nightlife.

Sunday: noon - 2am

From Bolivar Peninsula to Postoffice St.:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) and head southeast approximately .9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Harborside Drive. Travel approximately 1.4 miles along Harborside Dr. Turn left (south) onto 21st Street and travel approximately .3 miles to Postoffice St. (Ave. E). Turn left onto Postoffice. Old Cellar Bar will be on your right at 2015 Postoffice.

From Houston to Postoffice St.:
Travel Interstate 45 South (Gulf Freeway) to the Galveston Causeway. Soon after crossing the Causeway, I-45 becomes Broadway (SR-87, Ave. J). Continue traveling along Broadway for approximately 2.8 miles. Turn left on 21st Street and travel north approximately .3 miles to Postoffice St. (Ave. E). Turn right onto Postoffice. Old Cellar Bar will be on your right at 2015 Postoffice.
