At New York Pizzeria, they bring you the same wonderful experience as when they grew up in New York. Great pizza by the slice, fresh homemade pastas, Italian desserts, and authentic New York Style pizza. Since 1978, their family recipes have been passed down from their kitchen to your table. Visit their Houston-area restaurants today for dine in, take out or delivery.

Outstanding Taste Starts in Their Kitchen
Just like in the old country, Chef Anthony Russo visits the Farmer’s market every morning to choose the freshest tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and other vegetables. Then he grinds his own sausage, adding a special blend of imported spices and makes sure the dough is made fresh daily. New York Pizzeria only uses extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar ages 25 years, both imported from Italy.

The Family Secret
Only Anthony Russo knows the recipe for his family’s secret tomato sauce, which he prepares from scratch. No one else knows what makes this richest, most flavorful sauce in pizza making history.

Stop for lunch or dinner for homemade meals prepared fresh, the old fashioned way. Catering available. Delivery available; $10 minimum order within 3 miles.

Jackie8/23/2008 10:36:00 PMGreat Pizza! Outrageously rude staff. Walked up to the counter and was greeted with "Yeah?" If they are counting on that place to hold up that high rise above it, I'm gonna' stand way outside the implosion area!
Jack7/14/2008 9:42:00 PMIf you like pizza with very little cheese on it, this is your place. I was very disappointed!!
dana7/13/2008 9:43:00 AMMy family just visited the island week of 7/5--7/12.The counter clerk had no idea what alfredo sauce was when I asked that my manicotti be half red and half white sauce. When I FINALLY got my order, one of my manicotti's had BALSAMIC vinegar on it!! It was horrible. I had also ordered my son who stayed back at the hotel, tortellini with alfredo sauce. When I asked for a side of alfredo for my balsamic manicotti, I was told they were out of it. I then asked if they are out, how could they possibly complete my son's to-go order?? My wifes sandwich was merely OK , ( if you like a LOT of salt), but in fairness, my 10 year old daughter really enjoyed the pizza slice.Shreveport, La.
Gayle Sullivant6/11/2008 1:03:00 PMMy husband and I ate here on 6-1-08. We ordered a pizza and Chicken Marsala and one wine(Chardonnay) and one beer. The cashier/waitress stated that our total was " alot" and then gave us the total amount. The cashier/waitress did not know what Chardonnay was and had to ask another coworker. Our food took forever. In the background we heard the conversations between the staff about orders being messed up. These our conversations that customers should not hear. The cashier/waitress brought us our food and apologized. There was someone there that appeared to be the manager and he was not interested in anything but his cellphone. However, the pizza was very good. But, the Chicken Marsala was lacking in flavor.
andy6/8/2008 8:05:00 PMI had a terrible dining experience here back in December. The staff under trained and rude. I told the girl three times for goat cheese on my pizza. She didn't understand what that was. Its on the menu. Hello! So after we sat down, we were told there was no goat cheese. Some guy brought us our pizza without plates and without asking if we needed anything else. The pizza was so greasy there was a pool of grease right in the middle of the pizza. The bathroom had dirty floors and toilets. No soap. All the staff just sat around at the front counter talking and eating. I could tell which one was the manager. All he did was stand at the counter talking. My husband felt very sick afterwards. I will not give this place a second chance. No way!

ck4/4/2008 3:29:00 PMLocals--the restaurant has new management, and is actually quite competent. If you had a terrible dining experience with the previous management like I did, give it another try. The food is good, and the staff is much better this time around.
