WELCOME! We hope you enjoy your stay at the Maravilla. To help ensure your visit is pleasureable and memorable, please take a few moments to read the following. Please feel free to call us with any questions not covered in this letter. Failure to abide by property rules will result in termination of rental agreement for non-compliance; no refund shall be due. Each suite is privately owned and furnished.
DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING from suite. Each suite is carefully inspected upon your departure with an itemized list, ANYTHING missing from suite will be billed directly to occupant;(this includes linens, silverware, glasses, décor, etc.) Please Do not use towels in suite for beach towels (excessive cleaning will apply). ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING.
SMOKING ALLOWED ON BALCONIES ONLY. ($200 smoking fee will apply)
1. Parking: ALL parking is by permit only, and will be issued upon check-in. DO NOT park in any owner designated areas. Parking without a permit is subject to towing at owner expense. A B SEA SALES AND RENTALS INC. nor The Maravilla are responsible for vehicles while being parked at The Maravilla. No boats, buses, motorcycles, jetski's, bicycles, campers, RV's, trailers, motor homes, etc. are allowed on property. CHARGES MAY APPLY FOR ANY SECONDARY PERMITS, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF AVAILABILITY.
2. NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. Violators must remove any animal or leave. No refunds given. Guest may also be charge extermination fee, plus one night rental charge for loss of income due to down time.
3. Patios and balconies are to be kept clean and neat at all times. Entryways are to be kept clear and unblocked.
No towels, bathing suites, clothing, or any other item is to be draped from balcony.area
4. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades are not allowed in common areas, sidewalks, or parking areas.
5. Electric BBQ ONLY shall be allowed on balconies. Gas or charcoal BBQ may be used in common areas AWAY from building and property structures.
6. Any guest under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when using recreation facilities; fitness area, pool area, etc. POOL HOURS ARE FROM 9:00 am TO 10:00 pm. Proper swim attire shall be worn at all times. Converted or cut off street attire, excessively skimpy swim wear is not considered "proper swim attire".
No one under the age of eighteen (18) may use the spa at any time. NO GLASS OF ANY KIND PERMITTED IN POOL OR SPA AREA AT ANY TIME. (ALL PERSONS USING THE POOL OR POOL AREA DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. THE PROPERTY OWNERS, MANAGEMENT, OR AB SEA SALES & RENTALS INC. ASSUME NO RESPONIBILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENT OR INJURY IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH USE. ALL REGISTERED GUESTS SHALL BE RESPONSILBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS, UNIT'S OCCUPANT'S, AND ALL VISITORS. POOL BANDS MUST ACCOMPANY GUESTS AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN POOL OR SPA AREA.
7. CHECK - IN AND CHECK - OUT: CHECK-IN IS BETWEEN 3pm AND 5pm AS SOON AS UNIT IS CLEANED AND READY. CHECK-OUT IS NO LATER THAN 11am AND STRICTLY ENFORCED DURING PEAK AND BUSY TIMES. Early Check-in / late check-out (seasonal) may be inquired about through rental agent. BALANCES DUE MUST BE PAID UPON CHECK - IN. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. MAJOR CEDIT CARDS ACCEPTED.
8. LATE ARRIVALS: CALL OFFICE ON YOUR DAY OF ARRIVAL FOR INSTRUCTIONS IF ARRIVING AFTER 5 PM. EARLY DEPARTURE (BEFORE 9:30 AM) CALL FOR INSTRUCTIONS.
KEYS AND POOL BANDS: All must be returned to the office on departure. Charges will apply for lost keys or pool bands: KEY; 10.00 @ POOL BAND; 5.00 @
9. Please check feet/shoes for tar before entering condo. Charges will apply for carpet cleaning/spot cleaning for any negligence during occupancy. Please remove all trash to designated areas to avoid additional charges.
At NO time shall trash be set by front door, or anywhere else on property. No loud music, tv, instruments, loud voices shall exceed your condo. Noisy disorderly or offensive conduct, or conduct annoying or disturbing to other residents will NOT be tolerated. NO HOUSE PARTIES. UNDERAGE DRINKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED; ANY VIOLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL; NO REFUNDS. Laundry facilities are a convenience for the Residents, and must be left clean after each use. Any damages for excessive cleaning upon your departure, or additional charges or damages for furnishings, appliances, plumbing, etc., due to the negligence of guest shall be billed to guest. LOCK-OUT FEES: Guest may come to rental agent's office during business hour for a key to gain entrance. After business hours there shall be a $30.00 lock-out fee, due and payable in Cash, at the time of receiving key. Office hours are DAILY 9:30 AM TO 5:00 PM; adjusted to longer hours during peak season.
10. Please check your suite upon arrival. Report any discrepancy or problem with A/C, phone, tv, etc. to office as soon as the problem is realized. Refunds or discounts will not be made to maintenance related problems.
We will make every effort to correct the problem as soon as possible, or move you to another suite, if possible.
Any maintenance related problems, dissatisfaction with suite, view, etc. will be handled during business hours.
The Courtesy Officer cannot help you with any of these problems. Guest must follow guide lines set forth of 6 PEOPLE MAXIMUM IN 1 BEDROOM UNIT. Additional towels or maid service is available for an additional fee. Trash bags, toiletry items, soaps, etc. are not replenished. Any additional service requests must be made to A B SEA rental office BEFORE 11am.
11. CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS: A $35.00 cancel fee will apply to all cancellations. Refunds (minus fee) given if canceled by noon 2 days prior to arrival. For holidays and special events, a two week deadline will apply. Failure to keep reservation (no-show) will be charged the entire deposit. Refunds are not given for ANY early departure. All reservations are guaranteed reservations. Departing early due to weather illness, emergencies, change of plans, or being asked to leave for failure to comply with rules and regulations are NOT given. We strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance especially during hurricane season as refunds will not be given for island evacuation.
12. PERSON RESERVING UNIT MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AND MUST OCCUPY THE UNIT.
13. The City of Galveston has a curfew law. We kindly ask that guest try to follow these guidelines. Guests 16 and under; indoors by 10:00 pm, guests ages 16 & 17; indoors by midnight.
14. PLEASE be considerate, and do not run a/c or heater with doors and/or windows open.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MARAVILLA: 45 South; exit 61st street; right on Seawall Boulevard. Travel west approximately 3 miles, property on right by the old Sea-arama. From Bolivar Ferry: stay on Seawall Boulevard, check your odometer at 61st street; go apprx. 3 miles. The Maravilla is before the Seawall ends, and the West beaches begin.
