Photo Rev. John Bostock takes pride in the marriage ceremonies he performs making each one as special and unique as the people he is marrying. He offers the services of a Properly Ordained Minister and professional excellence in performing wedding ceremonies. As our special gift, each couple receives a certificate of their ceremony as a precious keepsake of the most important day of their life.

Our ceremony is non-denominational and allows the Bride and Groom to personally select special readings, scriptures, songs and add other distinctive touches. Couples may write their own vows that will we incorporate into the ceremony. In addition to a variety of ceremonies, we offer special ceremonies that include The Children Ceremony for couples previously married with children, The Family Ceremony, Masonic, Non-Religious Ceremonies or Inter-faith weddings. Also a Re-marriage Ceremony for married couples to have the ceremony they wished they could have had the first time.

Consultations are scheduled by appointment only. Wedding dates are only reserved by deposit. We cannot hold your date without a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and should be made payable to Rev. John Bostock. Once we receive your deposit, we will reserve your date and time and send you a Letter of Confirmation.

Locations available include almost anywhere in Galveston, including the beach, parks, wedding venues, or even a horse-drawn carriage! There are endless possibilities for your wedding on the wonderful Island of Galveston!

Ceremonies Performed

  • Civil: The civil ceremony is the shortest and cheapest legal ceremony with no religious content
  • Interdenominational: This nice ceremony is the "bare bones" religious ceremony that cuts across all religions
  • Anglican: This is becoming the most popular ceremony. Based on the traditional Church of England ceremony, but updated for America. A beautiful ceremony.
  • Traditional: This ceremony includes the "Apache Benediction."
  • Millennium: The most modern ceremony.
  • Renaissance: This interesting ceremony is based on the original ceremonies performed during the Renaissance period.
