WHY:

Annual fundraiser for the Galveston Island Humane Society who maintains daily shelter operations, and provides health examinations, medicines, and food for over 2,500 homeless animals. The support of the community is critical to ensure the ever expanding needs of our community’s homeless animal population are met. Without the community’s financial and in-kind support, such programs as cruelty investigations, spay/neuter assistance program, heartworm assistance program, and the emergency care fund would not be possible.

HIGHLIGHTS:
The Home & Garden Show features more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest and greatest in home repair, furnishings, landscaping, outdoor living, decorator items, pet items, pools and spas, environmental and home gifts. Show discounts on merchandise.

Special emphasis on ‘green’ products. Preview some of the finest new residential developments on the Island. Hard to find plants available for sale. Gardening tips from authorities plus cuttings distributed following presentations.

New this year! – Antiques Roadshow Island Style!

Renowned antiques appraiser Ray Simpson, of Simpson Galleries will appear both days to inform on how to ‘spot’ authentic antiques. He will also appraise pieces brought to the show during his appearances both days. Check schedule for times. Drawings for quality prizes each day and a Grand Prize raffle drawing at the close of the show.

Pets will be available for adoption at the Galveston Island Humane Society booth both days.
