Established in 1991, Galveston Bookshop is located in downtown Galveston's historic Strand shopping district, and offers one of the area's greatest selection of used and out-of-print books.

They offer a full range of fiction and non-fiction used books organized by category, a complete line of Galveston history and 1900 Storm books (new and used), specialty sections including Texana and Southwest, as well as vintage maps, postcards, and magazines, audio books, comic books, videos and CDs, and vinyl LPs.
