M. Thomas7/15/2008 10:27:00 AMMy daughter & I found this place on our mom/daughter vacation and loved it! It came highly recommended to us by the Starbuck's staff on 61st st. so we went. By the time we found it they were just closing @ 10:00 pm, but they gladly opened their doors and served us the best meal we had on the island all week. Prices cannot be beat, period. Were also very friendly. I'll be bringing my husband back in August.
soccermom2you7/6/2008 5:24:00 PMWe love this place. Granted sometimes they are understaffed but the food it something we crave, it is like eating at our Latina grandmothers. We have been going there for years as soon as we arrive from up north. We eat there atleast a few times a week while we are on the island.
Neta6/2/2008 9:35:00 PMWe ate there this past week for lunch. The food was very good but the service was awful. We were ignored most of the time. Disappointing since we'd been there on a visit to Galveston last year and were really looking forward to going back.
