The original Couteux Couture began nearly 20 years ago on 21st Street and The Strand, by Diane and Daryl Olson and D'lisa Creager. The store featured upscale ladies clothing and accessories. Destroyed in September 2008 by Hurricane Ike, Couteux Couture re-opened in August, 2009 in a new location at 2021 Strand. The store has greatly expanded its original focus and now includes one-of-a-kind, vintage clothing and accessories, as well as re-sale clothing for both Women and Men. One of our favorites is the newly added re-sale designer shoes. And of course, we still have our eclectic assortment of new clothing and accessories all exclusively brought to you from Los Angeles.

From Bolivar Peninsula to The Strand:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) and head southeast approximately .9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Harborside Drive and travel approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left (south) onto 23rd Street (Tremont St.) and travel approximately .1 miles to The Strand (Ave. B).
