A Galveston Bed and Breakfast since 1994, this restored 1887 two-story Queen Anne Victorian is nestled in the Lost Bayou historical district on a magnificent tree lined street with elegant charm and sophistication.

In addition to three rooms in the house with private baths and heirloom antiques, there is a separate Cottage with central air, heat, and private bath, and a separate Carriage house suite with central air, heat, private bath, and Jacuzzi for two. The home was designed by Alfred Muller, a renowned architect from Krefeld, Germany, was built for Howard Carnes the cashier of the Morgan's Louisiana and Texas Railroad and Steamship Company. The second owner, Paul Shean was a coppersmith from Ireland, hence the name Coppersmith Inn.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) approximately 1.4 miles to Seawall Boulevard. Bear right onto Seawall Boulevard. Soon Seawall Boulevard merges into Broadway. Continue straight (west) on Broadway for approximately 1.4 miles to 19th Street. Turn left onto 19th St. and travel approximately .2 miles to Ave M.
