Margaret11/6/2008 3:35:00 PMDined there early last week. Stuffing balls were fabulous. My grilled seafood platter had too much pepper/cajun seasoning for my taste. Limited menu.
Holly10/17/2008 10:25:00 AMI grew up at Gaido's but never ate at Casey's. We were finally able to bring our son to experience Galveston and Casey's was the best price and super fast service. Just a ton of food for the price, I left full of tilapia! My son also had the chicken fingers and my husband had the fried fish. Can't wait for everything to be back in running order for our planned trip in May.
sapphire8/18/2008 5:26:00 PMMy family ate there on a Sunday evening and it was great. The food was good, and yes, I have had better seafood, considering the prices at Casey's but I will go back again. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff was the best I have ever had when eating out.
spiney8/5/2008 1:27:00 PMGood food at reasonable prices. The gumbo is a standout as is the peel and eat shrimp. Service seems to be better than the their more fancy and expensive cousin(Gaido's)which is located next door and shares the same kitchen.
Cindy8/4/2008 8:33:00 PMAmazing seafood!! We were only in town for three days and we ate there twice. Best iced Gulf Shrimp on the seawall. We are planning another trip this week and plan to make this our main source of food during our stay. Everything is great!
Michelle7/12/2008 3:36:00 PMLOVE this place. Prices, service food it is great. The wait is well worth it if you have to wait. Fried pickles, yummy!!! We have never had anything that we did not like here.
Blake7/7/2008 10:59:00 AMWhat can I say but, WOW!! Enjoyed the restaurant very much. My wife and I both got the Famous Shrimp Platter and were overwhelmed with the amount and the wonderful flavor. Plenty of food, not too expensive and we were seated right away. My two year old was not very interested in her meal, so I sampled hers too. It was great. Great food, great service, great price.
Rebecca7/3/2008 9:47:00 AMWhen my family and I found this cafe, we were amazed at how you feel like family to all of the employees because they are all so nice. The food is absolutely wonderful, and it doesn't take forever to get it out on the table. The portions are pretty big, but perfect at the same time. I could keep going but there's too much to mention. Highly Recomended!
Steve Smythers6/28/2008 11:02:00 AMGreat food and experience. We had good service and food was very tasty.
Chris6/25/2008 9:19:00 AMI was thoroughly displeased with my experience at this establishment. The food was rather bland, possibly because it did come out so fast our salads and appetizers came after we had our food. Calamari was overcooked. Overall for the price I would head to a chain seafood restaurant such as Landry's or Willie G's.
M.6/17/2008 4:19:00 PMI have never gotten ANYTHING that wasn't amazing! I reccomend the fried zuccini (HUGE portion) and the fish tacos. Yum! When it's not 100+ degrees outside the patio is very nice.
