Located on the island's west end at 11745 FM 3005 at 9 Mile Road, Sand Castle Beach (Frank Carmona Pocket Park 2) includes an educational wetlands preserve, beach access points, and public parking.

Amenities include outdoor rinse-off showers, as well as umbrella and chair rentals.
