Buchanan Gallery has been an Island favorite for years. Owner Kathryn Buchanan offers works by many of the region's most inspired fine contemporary artists, including Heather Gorham, C. Ellen Hart, Danna Ruth Harvey, Greg Reuter, Margaret Smithers-Crump, Doug Sweet, Terry Vine, Erick Schaudies, and more.

Buchanan serves on The Galveston ArtWalk Committee, The Galveston Commission for the Arts, and on the Board of the Galveston Arts Center.

Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) and head southeast approximately .9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Harborside Drive. Travel approximately 1.5 miles along Harborside Dr. to 25th St. (Rosenberg Ave.). Turn left onto 25th, and travel approximately .2 mile to the corner of 25th and Mechanic. Buchanan Gallery will be on your left.
