Want to go bowfishing and floundering at night? All you need is your fishing license and a camera, because all the equipment you'll need is supplied.

And safety? Captain Newsom's master captains are CPR and First Aid certified, as well as Coast Guard licensed and certified. We take every necessary step to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Note: Tours by reservation only. Open year-round. Boarding at The Waterman Restaurant & Marina. Please dress comfortably. Guests must provide own drinks, snacks, ice chest, insect repellent, and fish cleaning supplies.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) approximately 1.4 miles to Seawall Boulevard. Bear right onto Seawall Boulevard. Soon Seawall Boulevard merges into Broadway. Turn left (south) onto 6th St. (University Blvd.) and immediately bear right (southwest) onto Seawall Boulevard. and travel 8.3 miles to Pirates Beach Blvd. Turn right onto Pirates Beach Blvd. and continue a short distance to Stewart Road. Turn left onto Stewart and continue only .1 of a mile or so to 14302 Stewart Road. The Waterman will be on your right.

From Houston:
Take I-45 South to Galveston. Take Exit 1A toward 61st Street. Turn right onto 61st Street and continue 1.6 miles to Seawall Boulevard. Turn right onto Seawall Blvd (FM 3005) and travel 8.3 miles to Pirates Beach Blvd. Turn right onto Pirates Beach Blvd. and continue a short distance to Stewart Road. Turn left onto Stewart and continue only .1 of a mile or so to 14302 Stewart Road. The Waterman will be on your right.
