Galveston.com Launches New Blog Site, blog.galveston.com

[ April 6, 2011 ] - Galveston.com & Company, creator of the official website of Galveston Island Marketing and Tourism, is pleased to announce the launch of http://blog.galveston.com/, a new community blog site that invites organizations across the Island to take an active role in discussing life on the Island and local events, issues, and politics. Included topics range from tourism, to nightlife, to cuisine, to weather, to current events via “The Cooler.” We want our new site to be informative, absolutely. And we plan to feature some of the most vibrant, opinionated voices on the Island to make it come to life.

In a nutshell, we believe that the Island desperately needs a public forum that can tackle the big issues – with a variety of voices and opinions at the table. We want it to be informative. And equally provocative. And Galveston.com’s vast number of unique daily visitors will be the perfect venue to host the discussion.
